HOW IT WORKS

How text to image works

From a written prompt to a finished image in three steps.

01

Describe what you want

Write a sentence — subject, style, mood, lighting. The more specific the prompt, the closer the result. Tap a preset to start.

02

Pick model, resolution & size

Choose the frontier model that fits the shot, the resolution, and an aspect ratio for wherever it'll be used.

03

Generate & download

Your image is ready in about 14 seconds. Download it watermark-free, or tweak the prompt and run it again.

Why generate with ImageMakerLab

One canvas, the whole model lineup, and output you actually own.

Every frontier model, one balance

Switch between GPT Image 2, Nano Banana, Seedream and Imagen without juggling separate apps or subscriptions. Match the model to the shot — photoreal, illustration, type-heavy design — and pay from one shared credit balance.

Up to 4K, any aspect ratio

Render square for social, vertical for stories, widescreen for a hero banner — then push the resolution higher when you need print-ready detail. The price per image is always shown on the Generate button before you spend a credit.

No watermark, yours to use

Every image comes out clean, with no ImageMakerLab watermark on any plan. Your generations are private by default and yours to use — in ads, listings, social posts or client work.

FAQ

Text to Image — questions, answered

What is a text to image generator?

It turns a written description (a "prompt") into an original image. You type what you want to see — subject, style, lighting, composition — and the model draws it. No reference photo needed.

How do I write a good prompt?

Name the subject first, then add style, composition, colour and lighting — e.g. "a vintage tram on a foggy Shanghai street at dusk, film photography, warm tones." Keep each idea distinct rather than stacking conflicting styles. The Try presets are a good starting point.

Which models can I use?

You can switch between several frontier models — GPT Image 2, Nano Banana, Seedream and Imagen — from one credit balance. Each has its own strengths, so you can match the model to the shot: photorealism, illustration, type-heavy designs and more.

What resolutions and aspect ratios are supported?

Square (1:1), portrait (2:3, 3:4, 9:16) and landscape (3:2, 4:3, 16:9), so your image fits where it's going. Output scales up for print-ready detail, and the credit price per image is shown on the Generate button before you spend anything.

How is this different from the AI Image Generator?

Same engine, different starting point. This page is built around the text-to-image workflow and choosing between frontier models; the AI Image Generator is the quick all-in-one tool. Both share your credits and history — use whichever matches how you think.

Can I start from an existing image instead?

Yes — that's Image to Image. Upload a photo and describe the change to restyle or edit it, instead of generating from scratch.

Is there a watermark? Can I use the images commercially?

No watermark on any plan. Your generations are yours to use — in ads, listings, social posts or client work. They stay private unless you choose to share one to the public gallery.
